Monica Whitlock, former BBC correspondent, retraces the steps of the 2005 massacre, which she reported before being thrown out of Uzbekistan with all other foreign journalists. After five years she was able to trace some of the people in exile who had been given up for dead. Their families are still under threat but they have for the first time told their story.
